It’s 4 layers, not including the ...Great question! It’s 4 layers, not including the top/batting/backing. It’s always a tough decision for me. I have cut behind in the past and sometimes not. It does make it a bit stiffer. I decided to leave the layers this time because the minky and batting together get a little thick and seemed to handle it. And I didn’t Quilt the logo itself like I normally do. On the applique, did you end up with ...Great job! On the applique, did you end up with 5 layers under the cross or did you cut out the fabric behind it? When I made one, I didn't remove the fabric and it got pretty stiff with so many layers. I love that you embroidered yours. It's a great pattern for a school quilt. And your label is perfect!
