Because for the whole weekend I cannot figure out for the LIFE of me why something that should be so easy, is beyond difficult for me!
I always do research about these kind of things before jumping in headfirst, and I read mixed reviews, more good than bad! Saturday afternoon, I thought I would give it a try.
I held my breathe and plunged into the abyss.
Apparently, Go Daddy was AWESOME and easily handed over my URL over to Google. I have heard that can be the most difficult part!
But, nope, that was EASY!

All I had left was to tell blogger to start redirecting my blog to the URL! Easy, right?
But.....alas...no!
I am getting the error that another blog or Google Site is already using this address.
No, really? That is ME!
The real kicker? Google wouldn't even let me access my own site?!?!?
I had a long explanation all typed out, but the short of it?
-It is nearly impossible to get a warm body to help you with computer stuff.
-I did get a warm body to help me log onto my own website, but due to technical difficulties with a storm as I was talking on my cell phone to him....I lost my help Sunday morning. And I cannot figure out for the LIFE of me how I found that help. I have spent yesterday and today just finding the "Help Me" form to get a warm body. I did email him (Greg is his name) and he responded today. But the links weren't helpful whatsoever. I am praying he calls me again today.
-I can access my website, but I still can't get my website to understand that my blog belongs to me and my blog to understand that the URL belongs to me.
-Computer problems can be downright frustrating.
I know Button, it makes my head hurt too!!!
And I didn't smash mine into concrete.
But it sure feels like it!
