“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”
Our second son has graduated from college and we could not have been prouder. Unfortunately, we found out that we only had enough tickets for our immediate family. However, we didn't panic...party at our house for all the extended family!!!
When he got home, the first thing I asked was if I could wash and hang his quilt.
Quilt details to come... |
I leaned how to make balloon decorations in March for Opa's 80th party.
My youngest son has decided that every party must include them. Maybe a balloon arch will be in our future?
I had the light blue covers already and made the navy/light blue covers to carry out the theme.
I found some fun printable bunting on line for the fireplace.
I found some cute pennant images and made bunting for another room. I'm kinda bummed that I forgot to take a photo of the front door decoration. Just picture blue and yellow flowers in a basket?!?!
His cake wasn’t exactly perfect, but it tasted good! I have realized over the years that I just don't have the patience for sticky icing and keep trying to grow in that a realm.
All in all, I am just so happy to see our son make it to the finish line. He has had to really work hard to get where he is. School was never easy. I just know that kind of persistence, courage, and strength will serve him well in his adult life.
