Last night was a big night!
Ole Betsy was in a really good mood!
I was having tension issues since I put the quilt on and thread breaking issues.
I did some searching on Google before I started last night to see if I could figure out what was going on. Things pointed to the fact that if you tighten the rails too tight and have the quilt too taught, it causes problems.
I loosed things up, double checked my tension...and powered through the second half of the quilt!
Now for a new dilemma. Binding. I've decided that there are too many prints in the border and a solid won't clash. But color?
Red, Blue, or Aqua?
The quilting is beautiful! I'm leaning toward blue.
ReplyDeleteOh it looks just beautiful! Fantastic quilting! I'd vote for blue too!
ReplyDeleteAqua. It's fresh and fun. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlue. Anchors the quilt edge.
ReplyDeletei am thinking the aqua Heidi, your quilt looks fantastic, well done.xx
ReplyDeleteAqua or Blue I think. The red might be to strong. So close now. hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking blue - great quilting, its a gorgeous quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting is beautiful. I love the second picture, with the scallops. I vote for blue for the binding.
ReplyDeleteBlue, because it frames the quilt and quiets it down. Fabulous work!
ReplyDeleteThis is looking lovely. I will wait to see which one you choose!
ReplyDeleteThey'd all look nice. The red would stand out more and make the reds in the quilt stand out more, the dark blue will frame it and the aqua I think would be the quietest binding. So whatcha going for?
ReplyDeleteThat is some gorgeous quilting, Heidi!! I think I'm partial to the red. : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love the red too.:)
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! I'd say red. It's nice and bold.
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI vote red!
ReplyDeleteI'd go with red but I love me some red. It's a bold way to finish off a beautiful quilt. I CAN'T WAIT to see the finished quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI like the aqua.
